$19.85

Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is responsible for providing excellent patient care by performing blood collection (phlebotomy) and preparing specimens for laboratory testing. This role involves direct patient interaction, ensuring a safe, accurate, and comfortable experience while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform blood draws (venipuncture, capillary, paediatric & geriatric collections)
  • Prepare and process specimens for lab testing
  • Verify patient information and ensure accurate labelling of samples
  • Maintain proper documentation and records
  • Follow all safety, PPE, and company protocols
  • Provide a professional and friendly experience to patients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
  • Handle both clinical and forensic specimen collection
  • Work independently while meeting daily deadlines
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Medical Assistant / Paramedic training (preferred)
  • Phlebotomy certification (preferred; required in some states)
  • 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience (including paediatric & geriatric)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Flexible schedule (weekends, holidays, overtime as needed)
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel
