Anna OB/Tysons Address:
7655 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA 22043 Duration- 3 months Shift- 8-430pm M-F Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join a small, two-person clinical site serving OBGYN and Internal Medicine patients. The ideal candidate will have strong phlebotomy skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work effectively with one other team member. Key Responsibilities Perform approximately 30-40 blood draws per day. Perform venipuncture and specimen collection accurately and safely. Assist with placing laboratory orders. Handle specimen drop-offs and ensure specimens are properly managed. Assist with closing and securing the pack at the end of the day. Follow proper specimen handling, labeling, and processing procedures. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor. Work collaboratively with the other employee at the site. Maintain reliable attendance and a professional work environment. Required Qualifications 2+ years of phlebotomy experience. Phlebotomy certification required. Strong venipuncture and blood collection skills. Ability to perform approximately 30-40 draws per day. Good customer service skills. Ability to work effectively in a small team environment. Professional communication and workplace behavior. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Some college education preferred/required per requisition. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in Spanish. Experience in an OBGYN environment. Experience with Internal Medicine patients. Experience with laboratory order entry and specimen drop-offs. Work Environment OBGYN and Internal Medicine clinical setting. Small two-person site. Candidate will work alongside one additional employee. Standing is required on and off throughout the day. Approximately 1-2 weeks of training will be provided.
