Modern office setting Visit our website at www.olympiafertility.com Seeking a full-time Lead Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to support a busy fertility office. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of two years experience and strong communication skills, be able to multi-task effectively and have the ability to use their own initiative to assist their co-workers. This position will be responsible for making the office run smoothly and working closely with all members of the office staff. The successful candidate will work with the medical team and patients to create a positive environment for all involved.
Responsibilities:
Maintain office environment, including cleaning, stocking items, and answering telephones. Disinfect and sterilize equipment. Drawing and processing blood for hormonal analysis. Scheduling of all medical assistants and medical chaparones. Purchasing of medical supplies. Instruction of assistants and chaparones. Monitor performance of the autoclave and concentration of disinfectant. Schedule patients and assist clerical staff. Minimal EHR. Answer phone calls from patients. Provide administrative support for the business office. Communicate with physicians to relay information about patients. Prepare examination rooms and instruments for procedures. Prepare medications and administer injections under the supervision of a physician. Assist in minor procedures under the supervision of a physician. Assist physician during gynecological examinations and treatments. Ethnic and lifestyle tolerance toward patients
