Week/s Pay :
$18/hr to $21.65/hr Weekly gross pay is based on a taxable hourly wage and daily lodging and meals & incidentals stipends based on USA GSA guidelines. Perform venipuncture and other specimen collections using straight and butterfly needles. Collect, label, process, centrifuge, split, freeze, and package specimens according to established procedures. Verify patient information, physician orders, requisitions, and specimen labels for accuracy. Explain blood draw and specimen collection procedures clearly and courteously to patients. Maintain specimen integrity by following proper storage, temperature, transportation, and handling protocols. Perform equipment maintenance, decontamination, recordkeeping, and patient information updates. Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and complete required annual department training. Answer telephone inquiries and provide laboratory results as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 2 years of phlebotomy experience in a fast-paced laboratory or hospital setting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
