Job Description
About the Role We are seeking a Shop Operations Supervisor to oversee daily shop operations, coordinate equipment and vehicle repairs, and support a team of mechanics. This role ensures work is completed safely and efficiently, maintains accurate repair records, and communicates equipment needs and concerns to management. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily shop operations and repair activities. Schedule and coordinate equipment and vehicle repairs. Assign projects and provide support to shop employees. Monitor repair progress and ensure work is completed accurately and on time. Coordinate parts purchasing and maintain repair documentation. Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA, and DOT safety standards. Track maintenance data and report key issues to management. Maintain shop cleanliness, organization, and safe working conditions. Skills & Qualifications Experience in a repair shop or maintenance environment preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure. Ability to interpret instructions, follow procedures, and maintain accurate records. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required. Comfortable working indoors/outdoors in varying conditions. Additional Requirements Occasional work outside normal hours, including some Saturdays. Ability to travel to job sites as needed.
