Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Juneau, Alaska. This role is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of clinical experience who is comfortable evaluating and treating patients with mobility, strength, balance, orthopedic, neurological, and functional limitations. The Physical Therapist will develop individualized treatment plans, provide evidence-based rehabilitation services, educate patients and families, and collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals. Candidates must hold an active Alaska Physical Therapist license , current BLS certification, and a valid driver's license. Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, mobility, balance, and functional impairments. Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals. Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance training, transfer training, and functional mobility interventions. Perform strength, range-of-motion, endurance, and mobility assessments. Provide manual therapy and other appropriate physical therapy interventions within scope of practice. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed. Assist patients recovering from injury, illness, surgery, or other medical conditions. Educate patients and families regarding home exercise programs, mobility strategies, fall prevention, and recovery expectations. Recommend appropriate assistive devices and mobility equipment. Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Follow patient-safety, infection-control, and rehabilitation standards. Manage assigned caseload efficiently while maintaining high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications Candidates must have:

Active Alaska Physical Therapist license Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience Current

BLS / BCLS

Additional Requirements Influenza vaccination is required unless an approved exemption is permitted under facility policy.
