Job Overview Join our dynamic pediatric clinic as a dedicated Physical Therapist, where your expertise will transform the lives of children and their families. In this vital role, you will assess, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans that promote optimal physical development and functional independence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in pediatric rehabilitation while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Duties Conduct comprehensive evaluations of pediatric patients to determine their physical therapy needs, including assessments for our pediatric caseload. Develop and implement individualized care plans focused on patient rehabilitation goals, incorporating treatment techniques such as trigger point therapy and other modalities suitable for children Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals—including physicians, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and caregivers—to coordinate care plans and discharge strategies Manage electronic health records (EHR) and electronic medical records (EMR) systems to ensure accurate clinical documentation that meets standards for medical terminology and healthcare compliance Provide patient care through hands-on therapy sessions in outpatient clinics or home health settings, emphasizing patient communication to foster understanding and engagement Assist with discharge planning by evaluating progress and recommending ongoing therapies or community resources to support continued development Maintain compliance with clinical documentation standards while ensuring timely updates of treatment progress notes, care plans, and therapy outcomes Qualifications Valid license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction with practicing in a physical therapy role experience preferred Proven experience working with pediatric populations in outpatient clinics, inpatient settings, hospital environments, or home health services Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, neurology, orthopedics, and geriatrics applicable to pediatric rehabilitation Familiarity with outpatient rehabilitation center practices and outpatient experience is highly desirable Proficiency in medical terminology, clinical documentation standards, EMR/EHR management systems, and outpatient clinic workflows Excellent client communication skills to effectively engage children and their families throughout the treatment process Experience working with geriatric patients or in inpatient hospital settings is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for working across diverse age groups is valued Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly enhance the well-being of children through innovative physiotherapy solutions. $42.00 - $50.00 per hour
