(k) match Open to new grads and PTs from other practice settings About the Role A nonprofit hospital in the Huntsville area is hiring a Float PT to rotate across acute care, inpatient rehab, and outpatient, covering census bumps, leaves, and vacation. Acute covers the full medical mix including stroke, neuro, ortho, cardiac, and general medical, with rehab aides assisting on setup and transfers. Inpatient rehab carries medical debility, ortho, and neuro at 4 to 5 patients per day with 60 to 90 minute sessions. The hospital-affiliated outpatient clinic runs separate General, Sports, and Neuro teams. A formal mentorship program supports new grads and clinicians transitioning from other settings. Because the hospital is a nonprofit, the role is eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
