Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
An integral member of a rehab team who all believe in our mission and strive for our patients to reach their best possible clinical and functional outcomes; provides high quality, compassionate physical therapy services while using the most up to date evidence-based practices. This rehab team member must be willing and eager to learn new concepts and therapy techniques, possess great communication and interpersonal skills, and be highly motivated. The Physical Therapist's job duties include but are not limited to obtaining patient's medical history, evaluating and administering treatments in consultation with the referring physician, completing all appropriate documentation in the patient's medical records, instructing patient and their family in appropriate patient care, assisting in training/mentoring new hires, students and support personnel and performing clerical and other duties assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education BS in PT Minimum Experience 1 year of practical experience direct patient care; any clinical setting OR proven experience in each area through completing clinical affiliation with EAMC. Required Registration/License/Certification Current Alabama State Board of Physical Therapy licensure BLS within 90 days of hire Preferred Education MSPT or DPT Preferred Experience 1 year of practical experience direct patient care in each clinical setting (acute care, outpatient, skilled nursing) Preferred Registration/License/Certification
APTA GCS, OCS, NCS APTA
