Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist, where you will play a vital role in improving patients' quality of life through specialized pelvic health rehabilitation. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment dedicated to patient-centered care, utilizing your expertise in physiotherapy and anatomy to develop tailored treatment plans. You will engage with patients experiencing various pelvic health and orthopedic conditions and provide comprehensive therapy that promotes recovery and wellness. Responsibilities Assess patients' pelvic health conditions through detailed clinical evaluations, including physiology and anatomy knowledge. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on pelvic floor strengthening, relaxation techniques, trigger point therapy, and other therapeutic modalities. Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals such as physicians, urologists, gynecologists, and other specialists to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes. Manage clinical documentation standards by accurately recording patient progress, treatment plans, and discharge planning within electronic health records (EHR) systems. Provide patient education on pelvic health issues, self-care strategies, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing rehabilitation at home and in the community. Conduct discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure sustained improvements post-treatment. Requirements Valid licensure or certification as a licensed physical therapist in the state of Arkansas with practicing in a physical therapy role. Demonstrated experience in outpatient rehabilitation centers or outpatient clinics with a focus on pelvic health and complete of pelvic health continuing education preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and clinical documentation standards relevant to pelvic floor therapy. Experience working with orthopedic conditions and demonstrate strong manual therapy skills. Ability to develop comprehensive care plans incorporating discharge planning and patient rehabilitation strategies. Excellent client communication skills to effectively educate and motivate patients throughout their recovery journey. Bonus if you have current education or interest in dry-needling.
