Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pediatric Physical Therapist, where your expertise will transform the lives of children and their families. In this vital role, you will assess, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans to promote optimal physical development and functional independence in pediatric patients. Whether working in outpatient clinics, hospitals, or community settings, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient-centered care that makes a real difference. Duties Conduct comprehensive evaluations of pediatric patients to assess mobility, strength, coordination, and developmental progress using physiology knowledge and medical terminology. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans focused on patient rehabilitation, orthopedics, neurology, and geriatrics when applicable. Provide hands-on therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and other physiotherapy modalities to improve patient outcomes. Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals including physicians, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and caregivers to ensure cohesive care plans. Manage clinical documentation standards by maintaining accurate electronic health records (EHR) and electronic medical records (EMR) systems for all patient interactions. Assist in discharge planning by evaluating patient progress and recommending home & community care strategies to support ongoing recovery. Engage with patients and families through clear communication about treatment goals, progress updates, and post-treatment care instructions. Experience Proven experience practicing in a physical therapy role within outpatient clinics, inpatient hospitals, or home health environments. Will take on recent Grads. Demonstrated expertise working with pediatric populations across diverse settings such as outpatient rehabilitation centers or inpatient units. Prior acute care experience preferred to handle complex cases involving neurology or orthopedics in hospital settings. Familiarity with outpatient experience including outpatient clinic experience or outpatient rehabilitation center experience is highly valued. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to pediatrics and geriatrics enhances your ability to develop effective treatment plans. Experience working with geriatric patients or in home & community care environments is considered an asset. Ability to adhere to medical terminology standards while managing physical therapy documentation efficiently within EMR systems.
