Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team. This is a 1099 contract position. Part time hours available, potential full-time hours available in the future. This role is a supervisor position and requires experience in a private practice setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized patient care plans. Experience/training with orthotics is desired. We offer an individual work space. Some travel may be required to facilities, 10 minutes or less drive time. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families while working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Responsibilities Assess pediatric patients' physical conditions by conducting comprehensive evaluations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each child's unique needs and goals.. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals including physicians, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and caregivers to coordinate care plans. Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to maximize outcomes and facilitate discharge planning. Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation. Educate families and caregivers to support goals outside the clinical setting. Qualifications A valid Physical Therapist license in accordance with state regulations. A MPT or DPT degree. Experience working with pediatric patients in outpatient clinics. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, neurology, orthopedics, and pediatrics. Familiarity with clinical documentation standards in accordance with insurance companies. Excellent communication skills to engage children and families effectively while providing compassionate care. Ability to work independently as well as be part of a collaborative healthcare team.
