Position Overview Orthopedic Care Specialists Inc. is seeking dedicated and passionate Physical Therapists (PT) to join our team in Gilbert, Arizona. This full-time position is focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered therapy to individuals suffering from a variety of orthopedic conditions. As a PT, you will play a key role in the continuum of patient care, ensuring that each individual receives personalized treatment designed to meet their specific therapeutic goals. Our state-of-the-art outpatient facility is designed to enhance the overall healthcare experience, combining advanced medical technology with a warm, supportive environment. Our team of specialists collaborates to offer innovative and effective treatments tailored to each patient's needs. Work Environment The position is onsite at our modern outpatient office located in Gilbert, AZ. Your work schedule will be from Monday to Friday, specifically between 2 PM and 8 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life environment. Our office is equipped with the latest technological advancements, promoting a collaborative setting where medical professionals work together to provide the best patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to preemptively identify therapeutic needs and create individualized care plans that target desired outcomes. Implement and manage treatment interventions utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities aligned with physician directives. Direct a majority of patients' physical therapy needs, ensuring continuity of care and facilitating patient transitions through various stages of recovery. Maintain consistent documentation of patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to align with the patient's evolving condition. Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on post-therapy exercises, therapeutic devices, and techniques to enhance recovery at home. Manage caseloads effectively by prioritizing daily tasks and coordinating with team members to optimize patient care. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with a diverse range of patients, from those recovering from orthopedic surgeries to individuals with chronic pain and rehabilitative needs. The emphasis will be on creating a therapeutic alliance with patients to promote engagement and efficacy in their recovery journey. Your efforts will directly impact their functional mobility and overall quality of life. Qualifications A current active license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Arizona. A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program is required. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, which must be obtained within 30 days of employment. While prior experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory-new graduates are encouraged to apply. Preferred Experience Experience working in an orthopedic setting, providing patient-focused care is advantageous but not required. Familiarity with therapeutic modalities, manual therapy techniques, and rehabilitation exercises. Previous experience in interdisciplinary healthcare teams is a plus.
