Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a part-time Physical Therapist, supporting students with a range of needs from mild to severe. In this itinerant role, you will travel between multiple school sites within the area, delivering essential PT services throughout the extended school year. Your expertise will help students access their education and achieve their fullest potential.
Key Qualifications:
Active state license in Physical Therapy required Prior experience working in a school-based setting preferred Ability to provide quality PT services to students with diverse needs Current IVP Fingerprint Card (or eligibility to obtain) Strong communication and organizational skills Compassion and adaptability when supporting students and collaborating with staff
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans for students with varying physical abilities Deliver direct PT services and consult with teachers, staff, and families Document progress, maintain accurate records, and follow district and regulatory requirements Collaborate with IEP teams to support student goals Rotate between assigned school sites, serving as a key resource for student mobility and access Educate staff and caregivers on techniques to further student outcomes This part-time, two-day-per-week contract offers a flexible schedule that provides valuable work-life balance.
