Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing physical therapy services within educational settings in the Marana, AZ area. This part-time position (2 days per week, FSY) offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students with mild to severe needs across multiple school sites. As an itinerant provider, you'll play a vital role in helping students achieve their physical development goals in diverse environments.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Active Physical Therapist license in Arizona is required IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred Ability to work effectively with students presenting a range of needs (mild to severe) Skill in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs Travel between assigned school sites within the district to provide consistent care Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy interventions Maintain thorough records of services provided and student progress Participate in IEP meetings to support student-centered planning Provide consultative support and education to teachers, staff, and families This opportunity is ideal for physical therapists seeking a part-time schedule with meaningful connection to student success.
