This part-time opportunity offers a flexible two-days-per-week schedule supporting multiple school sites, serving a range of students from mild to severe needs. As an itinerant physical therapist, you'll play a crucial role in helping students achieve their maximum potential in educational settings.
Desired Qualities & Experience:
Current, active Physical Therapy license Prior experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred IVP Fingerprint Card required Ability to travel between several sites within the district for service delivery Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other therapists Experience developing and implementing individualized treatment plans Responsibilities include: Evaluating students and creating tailored physical therapy interventions Delivering direct and consultative PT services in multiple school settings Documenting progress and adjusting plans as needed to support student growth Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on IEP goals and support strategies Educating school staff and families about therapy goals and exercises Managing a varied caseload encompassing mild to severe support needs This contract role lets you make a positive, visible impact while maintaining work-life balance with a part-time, flexible schedule.
