Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make an impact as a part-time Physical Therapist supporting students across multiple school sites. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload, serving students with mild to severe needs on an itinerant basis. Your expertise will help ensure every child has access to the physical therapy services they need to thrive.
Key Qualifications:
Current and active Physical Therapy license required. IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card must be valid and up-to-date. Experience providing physical therapy in school settings preferred. Confidence working with students who have a range of needs, from mild to severe. Ability to travel between school sites as needed (itinerant position). Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy services to students based on individualized education plans (IEPs). Assess, develop, and implement therapy strategies to address motor and functional skills. Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals. Monitor and document student progress, adapting interventions as necessary. Support and train school staff on appropriate accommodations and activities. Maintain compliance with all state, district, and professional guidelines.
