Full Job Description Physical Therapist/Physical Therapist Assistant Duties :
- Provide patient care by evaluating and treating individuals with physical impairments and functional limitations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including trigger point therapy, to improve patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques and home care strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Physical Therapist/Physical Therapist Assistant Skills :
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Ability to perform assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Experience in acute care or hospital settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of pediatric physical therapy is a plus.
- This position requires a valid license and a Physical Therapy Certificate in the State of California Required to practice as a Physical Therapist.
