This dynamic position offers a unique approach: after onboarding, you'll begin receiving service requests from various charter schools and will have the flexibility to accept or decline assignments that fit your interests and schedule. As you build your caseload, there's the potential to achieve a full-time workload over the course of the academic year. The position is for the full school year and is exclusively in-person, with occasional opportunities to support students in home health settings.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Physical Therapist license in California Experience in pediatric, school-based, or related therapy settings preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to travel across LA County for in-person service delivery Flexibility and organizational skills to manage an itinerant schedule Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and provide physical therapy services to students as requested by schools Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address student needs Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress Document sessions, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings as appropriate Adapt services for a variety of settings and age groups, from elementary through high school Collaborate with other service providers and, on occasion, assist with home health cases This role provides the chance to shape your own schedule, develop meaningful relationships across multiple school communities, and impact student growth and achievement.
