Physical Therapist - Rural Health Clinic | Chowchilla, CA We are partnering with a new and growing Rural Health Clinic (RHC) in Chowchilla, CA to find an experienced, licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join their collaborative outpatient team. This is a part-time opportunity — ideal for a clinician who wants to be part of something meaningful from the ground floor, helping expand access to care in an underserved rural community.

All ages — generalist (pediatric through geriatric)
Schedule:
Part-Time | 1 -3 days per week to start

up to $65.00 per hour

ASAP — clinic is newly opening About the Role The Physical Therapist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical injuries, disabilities, or movement disorders. You will develop personalized treatment plans to help patients improve mobility, relieve pain, restore function, and prevent disability through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education. This is a unique ground-floor opportunity — the clinic is newly built and ready to open, and the right candidate will have input into equipment selection, layout decisions, and the overall setup of the PT department. There are no competing PT clinics in the immediate area , giving this role enormous community impact potential. Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients' physical conditions, mobility limitations, and functional abilities Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and patient goals Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other rehabilitation techniques Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Educate patients and families on exercises, injury prevention, and home care programs Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes per healthcare regulations Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals on the care team Maintain compliance with healthcare laws, safety standards, and clinical protocols Assist in acquiring and setting up related medical and rehabilitation equipment Help establish appropriate billing codes for PT services Use rehabilitation equipment and technology to support patient recovery Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist — required Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT) — required Current California PT license in good standing — required Experience working in newly started or startup outpatient clinics — highly preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care Ability and willingness to work in Chowchilla, CA Why Apply Through Us?
