Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to partner with educators, families, and other specialists Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adjust techniques to accommodate unique student needs Reliable, flexible, and proactive in problem-solving

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct physical therapy services to students ranging from early childhood through high school, depending on the caseload Conduct assessments, develop interventions, and document progress in accordance with state and school requirements Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs and related documentation Educate staff and families on strategies to support student mobility and independence within the school environment Adapt interventions and goals to changing student needs, ensuring a student-centered approach Maintain accurate records and stay current with best practices in pediatric and school-based physical therapy This contract role offers the chance to impact students' lives and collaborate within a dynamic school atmosphere.
