Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of patients. Implement effective physical therapy interventions, particularly in orthopedic conditions, ensuring to apply evidence-based practices. Utilize manual therapy skills and modalities to enhance patient recovery. Engage in continuous communication with patients, actively listening and responding to their feedback to foster trust and improve therapy outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and clinical outcomes, adhering to all regulatory standards. Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Participate in ongoing professional development and actively share knowledge with team members. Patient Population / Client Focus The physical therapist will primarily work with outpatient orthopedic patients, ranging from post-operative recovery to chronic pain management. Our clientele includes a diverse demographic, and a focus on patient empowerment is vital. Our approach emphasizes treating the whole person-addressing not just their physical conditions but also their emotional and educational needs to promote overall well-being. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Valid Physical Therapy License in the state of California. CPR Certification preferred but not mandatory. Proven dedication to lifelong learning in the physical therapy field. Preferred Experience Demonstrated expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation and knowledge of pelvic floor therapy, with a certification as a Pelvic Floor specialist strongly preferred. Experience in manual therapy techniques and willingness to enhance skill sets in this area. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a confidence in patient engagement and education.
