Qualifications & Experience:

Current, valid Physical Therapist license for California Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong understanding of IEP development and documentation Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, educators, and families Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct physical therapy services to students, following IEP mandates Develop creative, individualized treatment plans to promote students' physical development and mobility within the school setting Conduct assessments and progress evaluations using standardized tools Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support classroom participation and safe mobility Document services and maintain accurate, up-to-date records in compliance with district and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and offer recommendations for adaptations or equipment when needed Embark on a rewarding school-year assignment within a collaborative team dedicated to student success.
