Job Description
Overview Valley Foot & Ankle Specialty Providers (VFASP) is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist (PT/DPT) to join our growing outpatient rehabilitation team in Fresno, California. This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with a specialized caseload that combines foot & ankle rehabilitation with broader orthopedic and musculoskeletal care. Our therapists work closely with post-surgical, chronic pain, sports injury, mobility, and general orthopedic patients in a clinic focused on quality outcomes and meaningful patient relationships. About the Role This role includes a patient caseload consisting of approximately: 50-60% foot & ankle rehabilitation 40-50% orthopedic and general musculoskeletal conditions Common conditions treated include Post-surgical rehabilitation Foot & ankle injuries Knee, hip, and back pain Shoulder and neck conditions Sports-related injuries Balance and mobility deficits Chronic pain and movement dysfunction You'll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patient populations while collaborating closely with providers and staff in a multidisciplinary clinical setting. Responsibilties Perform initial evaluations and ongoing reassessments Develop individualized treatment plans and rehabilitation goals Deliver evidence-based outpatient physical therapy treatments Educate patients on movement, recovery, injury prevention, and home exercise programs Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Maintain accurate EMR documentation and treatment records Collaborate with physicians, therapists, assistants, and staff to optimize patient outcomes Supervise and direct Physical Therapist Assistants and support staff when appropriate Help create a positive, compassionate, and motivating patient experience Qualifications Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Active California Physical Therapy License Current BLS Certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred Experience with post-surgical rehabilitation is a plus Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply New graduates with strong clinical rotations are welcome to apply Compensation & Benefits $90,000-$110,000 annually depending on experience Full-time position Monday-Friday schedule No weekends Supportive and collaborative clinic culture Modern and growing physical therapy department Consistent referral network and patient flow Opportunities for long-term growth and leadership At VFASP, we believe great physical therapy combines clinical excellence with genuine human connection.
