Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role as an Onsite Physical Therapist and contribute to student success for the full academic year. This contract position is full-time, offering 37.5 hours per week with an immediate start date. You'll be working in a collaborative environment dedicated to helping students reach their full potential through high-quality physical therapy services.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active licensure or eligibility as a Physical Therapist Experience in a school-based physical therapy setting highly preferred Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy practices and IEP processes Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families Excellent documentation and organization skills Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group therapy services for students, following IEP goals Assess and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed Consult with teachers, aides, and parents to support student mobility, motor skills, and participation Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute PT expertise to best support each student's needs Maintain accurate and timely therapy records in accordance with school policies Adapt therapy activities and equipment for diverse student populations
