1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient and acute inpatient rehabilitation unit requiring EPIC experience and weekend availability. Details acabilitation setting only, no outpatient Patient population includes ortho, neuro, ICU, and acute rehab cases Day shift, 8-hour shifts with approximate start times between 0800-0830 and end around 1630 Weekend coverage required, potentially all weekends with a comp day during the week, or an alternating or agreed-upon rotation EPIC experience required Requirements DPT degree required for those licensed on or after January 2016, or foreign equivalent 2 years of Physical Therapy experience preferred Active PT license in state of practice required BLS certification from an approved vendor required License required if applicable Additional Information Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, establishing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapy interventions using appropriate protocols and techniques Coordinates individualized care and discharge plans and communicates them to appropriate parties Completes comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines Supervises assigned physical therapy assistants Serves as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel candidates with no radius rule Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
