Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Holds a valid Physical Therapist license for California Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Familiarity with IEP (Individualized Education Program) assessments and documentation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, families, and students Ability to adapt to a flexible caseload and prioritize student needs Dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough IEP assessments to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Deliver direct physical therapy services to elementary students in accordance with their IEP goals Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, aides, and other specialists Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines Provide guidance and support to staff regarding mobility, positioning, and accessibility needs within the classroom Assist in the transition process for students returning from services previously managed by another Physical Therapist This position follows a Monday-Friday schedule, allowing you to maintain work-life balance while making a difference in students lives. Youll handle a flexible caseload, ensuring each child receives personalized attention and care.
