Physical Therapist (PT)

Los Altos, CA Overview:

Our outpatient clinic in Los Altos is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to deliver a combination of pelvic floor and orthopedic physical therapy services. This full-time role offers a Wednesday-Saturday schedule, working as the clinic's single provider with an aide to assist.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive patient assessments to determine functional status and treatment needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using manual therapy and therapeutic exercise Provide hands-on manual therapy to address musculoskeletal dysfunction, pain, and mobility limitations Prescribe and progress exercise programs based on each patient's goals and response to treatment Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care Educate patients and families on diagnosis, home exercise programs, and self-management strategies Document patient encounters accurately in the EHR, maintaining regulatory compliance

Qualifications:

Active, current Physical Therapist (PT) licensure in California Minimum 1 year of experience in a combination of pelvic floor physical therapy and orthopedics Women's health experience strongly preferred Additional certifications in manual therapy, orthopedics, or women's health (e.g., pelvic health certifications) preferred
