Full-Time or Part-Time | Orthopedic & Sports Focus | West LA / Santa Monica VERT Sports Therapy, Rehab & Fitness is an established orthopedic and sports rehabilitation clinic serving West Los Angeles and the Santa Monica area. For more than 30 years, we have built strong referral relationships with local physicians and a reputation for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Our clinic is connected to a premier fitness facility, giving clinicians and patients full gym access throughout the rehabilitation process. This allows our therapists to focus on high-level functional outcomes, athletic performance, and helping patients return to their highest possible level of activity—not simply basic recovery. Our current clinical team consists of three experienced physical therapists, each with more than five years of experience. We are expanding to support growing patient demand and are looking for motivated clinicians who want to develop their skills, contribute to the practice, and grow with the organization. Position Overview VERT is seeking up to two Physical Therapists to join our growing team. The opportunity may be structured as: One full-time Physical Therapist; or A combination of full-time and part-time clinicians. We are flexible regarding the final structure. Our priority is finding the right clinicians who can deliver excellent care and support increasing patient demand. This is an in-person position at our West Los Angeles clinic near Santa Monica. Compensation ranges from $50 to $65 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, schedule, and responsibilities. Patient Population Our clinicians work with a diverse orthopedic and sports-focused patient population, including: Active adults and weekend warriors Retired golfers and active-aging patients Student athletes Aspiring amateur and professional athletes Post-operative orthopedic patients Individuals recovering from musculoskeletal injuries Workers' compensation and personal injury cases, which represent the smallest portion of our patient population Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and identify patients' impairments, functional limitations, and rehabilitation goals. Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based plans of care. Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, movement training, and other appropriate orthopedic interventions. Treat patients independently or with the assistance of appropriate support staff. Educate patients on their diagnosis, treatment plan, recovery expectations, injury prevention, and home exercise program. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical findings and functional outcomes. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation. Communicate with physicians, healthcare providers, patients, and clinic staff to coordinate care. Help patients safely return to work, athletics, recreational activities, and their highest achievable level of function. Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and growth-oriented clinic environment. Experience Requirements Ideally two to ten years of experience as a Physical Therapist with a strong orthopedic background. At least one year of outpatient experience is preferred. Candidates must have meaningful hands-on orthopedic experience in a clinical setting. Candidates should have completed orthopedic training and/or have experience treating patients independently or alongside support staff in an orthopedic clinic. Previous experience in an outpatient sports clinic is helpful but not required. Mentorship and clinical training will be provided. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program. Current and unrestricted license to practice physical therapy in the State of California. Strong clinical reasoning, evaluation, treatment-planning, and patient-education skills. Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-first care. Excellent interpersonal, communication, documentation, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of an experienced clinical team. Interest in continued clinical development and professional growth.
