You will plan physical rehabilitative programs to improve patient quality of life.
SUMMARY:
Oversees and maintains responsibility for the daily operations of the clinic according to Rancho philosophy, policies and procedures. In addition to maintaining an active patient load, the Director will provide leadership to clinic staff, market services to the medical community, attend regular management meetings, and participate in community activities.
EDUCATION
Masters or Doctorate from a school of physical therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association, or foreign equivalent Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the California Board of Physical Therapy, or accepted for licensure by official date of hire
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years' experience treating patients in an orthopedic, outpatient clinical setting (required) Advanced Board Certification (OCS, SCS, CHT) Supervisory/Managerial experience in a physical therapy or rehabilitation setting Understanding of insurances, billing and collections procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
Use sound judgment in applying academic knowledge and clinical experience in providing patient care Provide leadership and guidance to staff Interact and communicate with Administrative Team Understand finance, marketing, billing/collecting, and HR functions, with assistance from Administrative Team Communicate with assigned owner Self-motivate Establish rapport with physicians, adjustors, case managers, patients, families, professionals, co-workers, and the public Organize time, set priorities, demonstrate flexibility Assume responsibility of Clinic and uphold executive decisions Demonstrate integrity and discretion in all job related matters Maintain and demonstrate an attitude of excellence and quality both in patient care and leadership duties
