Job Description
Adventist Health seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist to deliver evidence-based rehabilitation services in a mission-driven, faith-based environment. In this role, you will perform comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide hands-on therapy focused on restoring mobility, function, and quality of life. You'll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, document care in EMR, and educate patients and families in support of whole-person healing-mind, body, and spirit. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver evidence-based interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional training Document assessments, goals, and progress in EMR in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and strategies to improve function and quality of life Participate in case conferences, care planning, and performance improvement initiatives Support Adventist Health's mission by providing compassionate, faith-aligned care to diverse populations Precept or mentor students and new staff as appropriate and engage in ongoing professional development Required Skills Patient evaluation Treatment planning Manual therapy Therapeutic exercise design Neuromuscular re-education Functional mobility training Electronic Medical Records (EMR) documentation Interdisciplinary care coordination Patient and family education Outcome measurement and reporting
