Full‑time Physical Therapist position located near Monterey, CA. The role supports a collaborative rehabilitation team, helping patients regain mobility, independence, and quality of life. This opportunity is ideal for both experienced clinicians and new graduates.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate referred patients and develop individualized PT treatment plans based on physician orders and patient goals. Perform comprehensive PT assessments and administer evidence-based interventions. Develop care plans that promote functional mobility, strength, balance, gait, endurance, and overall independence. Provide high-quality, safe, and compassionate patient care across appropriate age groups. Complete accurate and timely documentation for evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge planning. Assign and supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and rehabilitation aides to support efficient patient care. Review and update treatment plans for patients receiving services from support staff. Educate patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare staff regarding treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention. Assist in the orientation of new employees and volunteers. Supervise and evaluate PT students and PTA students during clinical affiliations. Assume Charge Therapist responsibilities as needed. Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program. Current California Physical Therapist License or eligibility for California licensure. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification for Healthcare Providers. Strong knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy practices and patient-centered care. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
