Job Description
Role:
Physical Therapist Organization:
131st Rescue Squadron / 129th
Rescue Wing, Moffett Air National Guard Base Pay:
$150,000 per year, based on experience
Location:
On site at Moffett Field, CA (Pararescue Training Facility / Santa Clara County)
Time Commitment:
Full-time Monday through Friday, on site, plus some unit training on weekends with comp time given during the week to stay at 40 hrs/week. Federal holidays off.
Start Date:
Fall 2026 (timing is flexible based on candidate availability)
Other Details:
This role provides physical therapy and injury management for military aircrew in a performance clinic setting. California PT license required. Do you have at least 3 years of PT experience with either 1) collegiate, Olympic, or professional sports athletes, or 2) military personnel? If so, in what capacity? Has your physical therapy license ever been disciplined, restricted, suspended, revoked, or otherwise subject to a board action or investigation? If yes, please explain briefly.
- Provide physical therapy and injury-management care for Air Force Special Warfare and rescue aircrew under a human performance program
- Evaluate and treat acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries with an eye toward return to duty and injury prevention
- Document evaluations and treatments in a HIPAA-compliant system and report unit trends as requested
- Support unit training assembly weekends and occasional after-hours evaluations while staying within the 40 hour per week schedule of the role Additional Information /
Background:
Moffett ANGB needs a full-time physical therapist for the 131st Rescue Squadron human performance program. California PT licensure is required. A master's or doctorate in physical therapy is required; ABPTS Orthopedic or Sports certification and CSCS are preferred.
