Job Description
$70 - $85/hr | Flexible 3x12 Daytime Schedule | Full Benefits (100% employer paid insurance) Horizon Wound Care is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) to deliver innovative treatments in skilled nursing facilities across the Los Angeles area , with flexible daytime scheduling and strong benefits . This role focuses on advanced wound healing therapies , including Ultrasonic Mist Therapy , helping patients with chronic and complex wounds recover faster and improve their quality of life. Facilities are typically located within a 15-20 mile radius of Murrieta , allowing for manageable travel between locations. New graduates are welcome to apply. Horizon provides training and mentorship for PTs interested in developing specialized wound care expertise. Why Physical Therapists Choose Horizon $70 - $85 per hour depending on experience Daytime scheduling with flexibility (typically 3x12 hour shifts) 100% employer-paid Health, Dental, and Vision insurance Mileage reimbursement between facilities Wound Care Certification reimbursement is available 401(k) retirement plan Health savings account (HSA) Life insurance Paid time off Employee assistance program Career advancement opportunities in advanced wound care Supportive interdisciplinary care teams What You'll Do Perform wound assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver Ultrasonic Mist Therapy treatments for chronic wounds Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to improve healing outcomes Educate patients, caregivers, and facility staff on wound care best practices Monitor healing progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Maintain accurate clinical documentation according to Medicare and regulatory standards Help prevent wound recurrence through preventative care strategies Qualifications Active California Physical Therapist (PT) license in good standing New graduates encouraged to apply! Experience in wound care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing preferred, but not required Wound care certifications ( WCC, CWS, CWPT ) are a plus!
