Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Part Time Physical Therapist or PTA (Physical Therapist Assistant), where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional early intervention services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with patients, caregivers and contribute to comprehensive treatment plans that promote recovery and improve quality of life. Duties Assist in developing and implementing personalized treatment plans aligned with the Regional Center of the East Bay and Smart Moves Alameda expectations . Provide hands-on therapy interventions and coaching for caregivers. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies to optimize outcomes while adhering to clinical documentation standards. Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members such as physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and social workers to coordinate care. Conduct discharge planning and contribute to comprehensive care plans for pediatric clients following IFSP guidelines. Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Qualifications Valid licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist or PTA in accordance with state regulations. Prior experience working in early intervention is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, orthopedics and neurology to inform effective treatment strategies. Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with diverse patient populations and their caregivers. Demonstrated understanding of care plans, discharge procedures, early intervention protocols, and working within multidisciplinary teams. Pay:
From $80.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 10.0 per week
