Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a unique opportunity supporting students in a dynamic school setting as a contract Physical Therapist. Located near Rohnert Park, CA, this flexible position allows you to make an impact with just a two-hour commitment each month.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in California Demonstrated experience working in school-based or pediatric settings Comfort completing assessments and developing treatment plans for students with diverse needs Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and team members Ability to manage time independently and efficiently in a consultative role
Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and provide consultative physical therapy services to students as needed Develop individualized goals and recommendations based on each student's needs Coordinate with teachers and staff to ensure appropriate accommodations and support for student participation and access Document assessments, interventions, and progress according to school requirements and professional standards Offer guidance on adaptive equipment, positioning, and mobility within the school environment, as appropriate
