The Physical Therapist will provide evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services to pediatric patients with a variety of medical, surgical, orthopedic, and mobility-related needs. This position is ideal for a PT with strong acute-care experience who is comfortable working with medically complex pediatric patients and collaborating with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other members of an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for pediatric patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient's diagnosis, functional abilities, and rehabilitation goals. Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, range of motion, and functional independence. Assess patients for appropriate mobility equipment and assistive devices. Educate patients, parents, and caregivers regarding treatment plans, exercises, mobility, and safe transitions of care. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, occupational therapists, and other clinical professionals. Accurately document evaluations, treatments, progress, and discharge recommendations in the electronic medical record. Maintain compliance with hospital policies, patient-safety standards, and applicable professional requirements. Qualifications Active California Physical Therapist license. Minimum 2 years of acute-care physical therapy experience . Pediatric acute-care experience strongly preferred. Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience . Current BLS certification. Ability to work effectively with pediatric patients and their families in an acute hospital environment. Strong communication, clinical judgment, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.

$60.00
