Role:

We are seeking an Orthopedic Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal conditions, movement limitations, and rehabilitation needs. You will develop individualized plans of care, provide evidence-informed treatment, and help patients work toward meaningful functional goals. The role emphasizes clinical reasoning, clear communication, and patient participation in recovery.

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations, including relevant history, functional assessment, and examination. Establish measurable goals and individualized plans of care based on patient needs and clinical findings. Provide therapeutic exercise, functional training, manual therapy, and other appropriate interventions within your qualifications and scope of practice. Support recovery from orthopedic injuries and surgery, following applicable precautions and coordinating with referring providers when needed. Assess movement patterns, strength, mobility, balance, and activity tolerance. Educate patients about their condition, treatment plan, activity modifications, and home exercise program. Monitor progress using appropriate outcome measures and adjust treatment based on reassessment. Recognize findings that require medical referral or further evaluation. Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation. Coordinate care with patients, healthcare providers, and clinic staff. Plan appropriate discharge and provide guidance for maintaining functional gains. Follow privacy, infection-control, and workplace safety procedures. Supervise assistants, aides, or students only when assigned and in accordance with applicable requirements.

Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program or an accepted equivalent. A current California Physical Therapist license in good standing by the start of employment. Experience or relevant clinical training in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation. Strong clinical reasoning and patient-assessment skills. Knowledge of therapeutic exercise, functional rehabilitation, and appropriate manual therapy techniques. Ability to develop measurable goals and document treatment effectively. Clear communication and a collaborative, patient-centered approach. Commitment to continuing education and evidence-informed practice. Ability to perform essential clinical duties safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay:

$48.00 - $57.00 per hour
