Work Environment This full-time position requires working on-site at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center. The center is equipped with advanced technology and facilities that support a range of therapeutic interventions. Our collaborative environment fosters teamwork among healthcare professionals, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient care. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities Perform thorough evaluations to determine patient needs and create personalized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques. Administer effective therapies that enhance patients' range of motion and mobility, focusing on cost-effective and non-invasive methods to minimize dependence on medications. Encourage patient participation and motivation throughout treatment to foster optimal recovery and enhance functionality. Maintain a patient load that ensures individualized attention, typically one patient per hour, allowing for focused, high-quality care. Document all services provided accurately and maintain effective communication regarding progress with patients and interdisciplinary team members. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient rehabilitation. Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal results. Design and implement customized fitness and wellness programs based on the specific needs and preferences of each patient. Use EMR software, such as WebPT, for documentation and progress tracking to provide seamless patient care. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain issues, and postural imbalances. Your focus will be on enhancing their physical capabilities and overall wellness, allowing them to return to their daily activities and improve their quality of life. Qualifications A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. A current and valid Physical Therapist license to practice in California. No history of disciplinary actions on licensure record. Proficiency in manual therapy and exercise program design. Experience using EMR Software like WebPT for effective documentation and patient management. Preferred Experience While not required, prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred, as it provides valuable context for understanding patient needs in rehabilitation. Candidates with hands-on experience in treatment modalities such as aquatic therapy or dry needling will be given special consideration. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from
USD 75,000
to 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
