Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential physical therapy services to students across a K-12 district. From October 2nd through the end of the school year, your expertise will play a vital part in helping students achieve their best possible outcomes. This flexible, part-time role — covering just 10 hours a week — is designed to fit seamlessly into your professional schedule. As a dedicated Physical Therapist, you'll build on the foundation laid by the outgoing PT and provide continuity of care for students. You'll collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to tailor and implement effective therapeutic strategies for a variety of needs.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

Valid California Physical Therapist (PT) license required Prior experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred Strong understanding of IEP procedures, student assessments, and documentation Ability to manage a diverse caseload of K-12 students Excellent communication skills for teamwork with faculty, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans for students requiring PT services Implement interventions focused on improving student mobility, motor skills, and overall function Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents regarding students' progress and goals Maintain thorough records in accordance with state and district guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued member of the student support team
