Description Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic outpatient practice in Ventura, California. Our practice specializes in sports medicine, providing cutting-edge treatments within our expansive 5000 square foot facility. As a team composed of experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, we strive to create an environment that supports continuous learning and growth. Work Environment This role is primarily onsite, allowing you to directly engage with patients in a supportive and dynamic atmosphere. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a structured schedule that allows for work-life balance while meeting the needs of our patient population. The collaborative environment among our team fosters innovation and continuous improvement in treatment practices. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to recognize and fulfill the specific rehabilitation goals and needs of each patient. Manage a patient caseload that allows for focused attention, typically serving one patient per hour to ensure quality care. Develop individualized treatment plans employing diverse techniques aimed at enhancing patients' mobility and functionality. Utilize evidence-based approaches to promote optimal recovery while minimizing reliance on medications and surgical interventions. Implement tailored fitness and wellness programs that accommodate patients' unique requirements and conditions. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with agency guidelines and standards. Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, fostering open communication with patients about their recovery journey. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, enhancing overall outcomes. Encourage patients and motivate them to adhere to their treatment plans, promoting a lifestyle of health and wellness. Patient Population / Client Focus Our patient population primarily consists of individuals with private medical insurance, often seeking recovery from orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. This role will allow you to work with a diverse demographic, tailoring treatment approaches to meet varying needs and ensuring that clients receive the best possible care in their rehabilitation journeys. Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with preference given to candidates holding a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California. No prior board actions or disciplinary actions taken against your license. Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing effective exercise protocols tailored to each patient's needs. Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, demonstrating an understanding of the unique challenges faced by patients in such environments. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems like WebPT, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of patient care. Preferred Experience In addition to the required experience, candidates with two or more years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient practice will be prioritized. Previous work with sports medicine or a focus on functional rehabilitation techniques will further enhance your fit within our team. Compensation and Benefits This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of
USD 100,000
to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
