Outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine About the Opportunity Our client is a family-owned, physical therapist-owned outpatient practice seeking Staff Physical Therapists for its Boulder and Longmont clinics. Opportunities also available in Englewood, CO. This is an excellent opportunity for a Physical Therapist who wants flexibility, professional independence, and a supportive team environment without the restrictions of a large corporate healthcare organization. Therapists are trusted to use their own treatment approach while receiving support from an experienced, collaborative team. The practice is hiring one Physical Therapist in Boulder and one in Longmont. Full-time candidates are preferred, but flexible part-time arrangements are also available. What Makes This Position Different True one-on-one patient care No physical therapy aides Flexible, self-built schedule Weekday hours only—clinics are closed on weekends Salaried position with pay unaffected by patient no-shows or late cancellations Family-owned and PT-owned practice High clinical autonomy with minimal corporate rules Opportunity to advance into a Clinic Director or management role Collaborative, positive, and low-key workplace culture Position Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients with general orthopedic and sports medicine conditions Provide one-on-one care during 30-minute evaluation and follow-up appointments Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs and goals Educate patients about treatment recommendations, exercises, and injury prevention Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Collaborate with other Physical Therapists and clinic staff Manage approximately 15 patient appointments during a standard eight-hour day Deliver patient-centered care while working independently Contribute to a welcoming and positive clinic environment Schedule The practice offers considerable flexibility in how therapists arrange their schedules. Monday through Friday No weekend hours Clinic hours range from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days may be available Therapists may adjust their daily start and end times Full-time is considered 30 or more hours per week Part-time schedules under 40 hours per week may also be considered Qualifications Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Colorado Outpatient orthopedic or sports medicine experience preferred One to two years of experience preferred New graduates may be considered when they have a strong related background, such as athletic training or massage therapy Ability to work independently without close supervision Collaborative and team-oriented approach Positive, professional, and patient-focused attitude Strong communication and organizational skills No specialty certification is required. Clinic Culture Each clinic includes approximately five Physical Therapists and four front-office team members. The owner is a practicing Physical Therapist who continues to treat patients full-time and understands the daily needs of clinicians. The team is collaborative, upbeat, welcoming, and relaxed. The practice values therapists who are self-directed and want the freedom to develop their own clinical style without being micromanaged.
