1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital setting, requiring at least 1 year of related experience and current PT licensure. Details Acute Care Therapy Services unit within a hospital setting Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts, 4 days per week, 32 hours per week Rotating schedule of every other Saturday/Sunday and Monday/Tuesday/Friday Shifts typically run 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Possibility of 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. shifts on the 2nd and 4th Monday and Wednesday for Elective Joint POD 0 Evaluations Uses Epic for charting Requirements Minimum 1 year of related physical therapy experience required, clinic setting preferred Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school required; Doctorate preferred Current, active state Physical Therapist license required (license required if applicable) BLS certification through the American Heart Association required, must not expire prior to start ACLS certification preferred 1 year of ultrasound experience preferred Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and applications Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills Highly organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration Additional Information Assesses and evaluates patient functional status, mobility, endurance, stamina, pain, and other medical conditions Develops and implements individualized treatment plans and monitors patient progress Collaborates as part of a multidisciplinary care team Regular on-site attendance required during scheduled shifts Returning Intermountain staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment Background check and drug screening processing may take at least two weeks, and reporting timelines must be strictly followed
