Pediatric Program Lead Location:
Colorado Springs, CO Employment Type:
Full-Time Compensation:
Starts around $43/hr, with flexibility up to $46/hr based on experience
Bonus:
$2,500 signing bonus available MSH has partnered with a mission-driven nonprofit pediatric therapy provider in Colorado Springs, CO that serves children ages 0-18. This organization is dedicated to ensuring that lack of funding is not a barrier to care and has provided millions of dollars in scholarship and pro bono services to families in the local community. We are seeking a qualified and motivated Physical Therapist to help oversee and grow the Pediatric Physical Therapy program. This is a unique opportunity for a PT who is passionate about working with children, enjoys collaboration, and wants the ability to influence and develop a meaningful pediatric therapy program. The ideal candidate will be licensed as a Physical Therapist in Colorado and comfortable working independently while also collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. This role offers the opportunity to work with children with a variety of diagnoses, including developmental disabilities and autism, while also helping shape the future of the PT program. Why This Opportunity Stands Out Opportunity to oversee and grow a Pediatric PT program Collaborative, multidisciplinary environment Ability to set your own schedule All work hours paid at the same hourly rate, including billable, non-billable, training, and administrative time $2,500 signing bonus Free on-site childcare Opportunity to hire and supervise PTAs Therapeutic equipment provided for evaluations and treatment Responsibilities Manage the Physical Therapy program, including program development and caseload oversight Conduct evaluations by interviewing children/caregivers and performing physical examinations Identify the source of children's movement difficulties and functional limitations Create individualized treatment plans with clear goals and treatment methods Help children improve mobility, reduce pain, increase function, and recover from injuries Assess clients and monitor progress over time Use therapeutic techniques such as functional training, exercise, adaptive strategies, and specialized equipment Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team of professionals Provide training, education, and support to non-PT professionals Support the future hiring, training, and supervision of PTAs Qualifications Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Colorado, or ability to obtain licensure Strong knowledge and experience in the field of physical therapy Pediatric experience preferred Experience working with children with developmental disabilities, including autism, is highly preferred Prior experience overseeing, mentoring, or training staff preferred Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Strong communication, organization, and caregiver-support skills Passion for serving children and families in a nonprofit, mission-driven environment Benefits All work hours paid at the same hourly rate, including billable, non-billable, training, and administrative time Flexible scheduling Paid ongoing training Collaborative team culture Recognition program with points redeemable for gift cards Competitive hourly compensation Medical, dental, and vision insurance 75% of medical premium paid by the agency Retirement contribution up to 3% of gross annual salary, even without employee contribution Life insurance with 100% of premium paid by the agency Paid leave for all employees, regardless of part-time or full-time status Free on-site childcare Compensation This position starts around $43/hr , with flexibility up to $46/hr based on experience.
