Vestibular & Orthopedic Physical Therapist Roots Physical Therapy & Wellness Erie, CO Job Details Contract $80 - $150 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Outpatient Physical Therapy License Orthopedics Medical terminology Full Job Description Job Overview I am seeking a dedicated and energetic Vestibular & Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join my dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide specialized physical therapy services focused on vestibular and orthopedic conditions, helping patients regain mobility, balance, and overall function. Your expertise will contribute to comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, ensuring optimal recovery outcomes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work across inpatient, outpatient, home health, and community settings, making a meaningful difference in patients' lives through expert care and compassionate support. Responsibilities Assess and diagnose vestibular and orthopedic conditions through detailed patient evaluations, including physiology and anatomy knowledge. Looking for someone with extensive experience with TBIs and complex neurological conditions. Develop and implement personalized care plans that incorporate physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and other manual therapies. Level 2 Dry needling certification, experience with CST, MET, Graston, Cupping, and advanced manual techniques is highly recommended. Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures, injury education, and self-management strategies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans including neurology, speech therapy, mental health providers, etc. Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems effectively to document patient progress, treatment notes, and discharge summaries. Current system is HelloNote Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment approaches based on clinical response and evolving needs. Valid licensure as a licensed physical therapist with specialization or experience in vestibular and orthopedic therapy. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques relevant to vestibular disorders and orthopedics. Familiarity with pediatric populations as well as geriatrics as related to brain injury. Excellent communication skills for patient care instructions and interdisciplinary collaboration.
