Work Environment Located in Evans, Colorado, our rehabilitation facility offers a welcoming and professional atmosphere that promotes teamwork and collaboration among healthcare providers. With a focus on orthopedic therapy, our clinic is designed to provide comprehensive care to individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Our onsite setting allows for direct patient interaction and the opportunity to engage with colleagues in real-time, enhancing the therapeutic experience. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and functional needs. Develop customized rehabilitation programs aimed at achieving the individual goals and recovery targets of each patient. Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, making adjustments to treatment plans as required. Supervise and provide guidance to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to ensure compliance with state regulations and the highest quality of care. Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, to maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes. Engage with patients to educate them about their conditions and the importance of adherence to their therapy plans. Patient Population / Client Focus Our primary patient population consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. This role requires a keen understanding of biomechanical principles and the ability to implement evidence-based practices to optimize patient recovery. You will work closely with patients of diverse backgrounds and age groups, tailoring your approach to their specific healing journeys. Qualifications A valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Colorado or in the process of obtaining licensure. A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent education in the field. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in directing patient sessions. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and motivate patients. Preferred Experience A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting. Familiarity with electronic medical records (preferably WebPT). Previous experience in supervising PTAs and leading patient care plans. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
