This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact over the 2026-2027 school year, working closely with young learners in a vibrant school community located near Montrose, CO. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active state license as a Physical Therapist Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred Understanding of pediatric PT and IEP-driven therapy Strong communication and documentation skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students in line with educational goals Deliver direct PT services according to IEP requirements Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to optimize student outcomes Track progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed Educate and guide school staff and families on mobility and adaptive strategies Stay current with best practices in pediatric and school-based physical therapy services
