Position Overview Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic outpatient practice in Westminster, Colorado. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in helping patients restore their motion, improve their quality of life, and achieve their personal health goals. As a member of our healthcare team, you will work collaboratively to provide thorough assessments and implement tailored rehabilitation programs. About the Organization Located in the heart of Westminster, our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with advanced sports medicine technology. At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality care to our patients. We primarily serve individuals with orthopedic conditions and accept various private medical insurance carriers. Our facility fosters a supportive environment for both patients and staff, emphasizing innovation and excellence in physical therapy. Work Environment The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced. You will be working onsite in our well-equipped outpatient clinic. The team currently consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, providing structured hours that promote a healthy work-life balance. Your engagement and expertise will be pivotal in enhancing patient outcomes in a collaborative team setting. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' goals and specific needs, ensuring personalized care plans are created. Deliver effective treatment sessions, typically seeing 2-3 patients per hour, while maintaining high standards of evidence-based practice. Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and modalities to enhance client mobility. Design and implement fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient requirements, focusing on improving strength, flexibility, and overall function. Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, making necessary adjustments to maximize rehabilitation benefits. Document patient care services accurately using EMR software, such as WebPT, to facilitate information sharing within the healthcare team. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients. Educate and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey to promote a healthy lifestyle and prevent further injuries. Review and refine treatment plans based on patient feedback and ongoing assessments. Patient Population / Client Focus Our practice primarily focuses on orthopedic outpatient care, serving a diverse patient population recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility. You will engage closely with patients of all ages, helping them navigate their rehabilitation journeys and regain confidence in performing daily activities. Qualifications Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program. Current Colorado Physical Therapist License with no disciplinary actions. Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in therapeutic exercise techniques. Familiarity with EMR systems, ideally with experience using WebPT. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster trusting relationships with patients. Preferred Experience A minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating a solid understanding of patient care in this specialty. Proven ability to develop individualized treatment plans that align with best practices in physical therapy. Experience in promoting health education and preventive care strategies.
