School Physical Therapist

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity to make a meaningful difference in student lives as a dedicated physical therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position offers consistent, Monday through Friday hours between 32 and 37.5 per week, serving a diverse K-12 population. You'll be working onsite, providing comprehensive therapy services districtwide, and collaborating with passionate educators and support staff. As the sole physical therapist in this supportive district, you will enjoy opportunities for personal and professional growth throughout your contract, spanning from ASAP through June 2027. This is a unique chance to create positive outcomes for students of all abilities, helping each child achieve their fullest potential.
Qualifications & Experience:
Licensed Physical Therapist with valid credentials (state requirements must be met) Experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred, but all strong candidates considered Comfortable with K-12 caseloads covering a range of needs Excellent communication and documentation abilities Able to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team In-person presence is required—remote applicants will not be considered
Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group therapy to students per IEP goals and district guidelines Assess, evaluate, and document student progress regularly Collaborate with teachers, families, and allied professionals to develop and implement intervention plans Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to support comprehensive student care Maintain accurate records and comply with school district policies and procedures
