Key Qualifications:

Valid and current Physical Therapist license required Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred Skill in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for children Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families for optimal student outcomes Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for all students

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver physical therapy services to students in PreK-3rd grade as determined by IEPs and assessment Administer screenings, evaluations, and create individualized intervention plans Provide both direct and consultative support in the classroom or therapy setting Maintain thorough documentation of treatments, progress, and outcomes according to school requirements Collaborate closely with teachers, occupational and speech therapists, and families on student needs and goals Participate in IEP meetings, providing assessment data and recommendations for services Adapt activities and materials to enhance participation in school routines and increase student independence
